Get to know our Interior Designer, Sarah Troegner!

My name is Sarah Troegner.

I have worked at TONO Group since March of 2022.

As an Interior Designer, it is my job to work with architects to develop unique designs and select finishes for the built elements of the interior.

Something you will always find on my desk is coffee, a notepad and pen and material samples!

SomethingI have learned from a coworker is you can learn something new every day which makes this line of work extremely exciting.

What’s one part of your daily routine that you’ll never change?

My daily routine is never consistent but spending time with my husband and our cats is what I enjoy the most after the work day.

What is the best event/concert/show you’ve ever been to?

Blink 182 concert in Capital One Arena

What’s your favorite hobby or past time when outside of the office?

Being outside when the weather allows while spending time with family and friends.

Do you enjoy traveling?

Yes! Before moving to Lancaster, my husband and I bought a pop-up camper and spent a few months on the road. We love camping, road trips and exploring new places.

What was your favorite project to work on at TONO Group and why?

The Faith River Home is easily going to be a favorite. This project is still under construction but it is such a unique project. I have learned so much about the residential construction process and the clients have been so fun to work with.

What is an achievement, inside or outside of work, that you are proud of?

We recently purchased our first home and as we have been updating and fixing things, it has been extremely rewarding seeing our vision come to life with the changes we have made. Slowly but surely, it is becoming our own and I have finally been able to implement my own style into the design.

If you could pass on one bit of knowledge to someone who might not understand the work you do, what would you tell them?

Interior design is so much more than picking paint colors. We work with our clients to understand their vision and make it a reality. We are involved from start to finish with the design, through creating drawing sets and even during the construction process.
