TONO Profiles: Grant Schaeffer
WHO WE ARE. WHAT WE DO. HOW WE WORK.
Get to know our Architectural Designer, Grant Schaeffer!
My name is Grant Schaeffer.
I have worked at TONO Group since June 2025.
It is my job to draw squares and rectangles – at least that is what my brother thinks I do all day. As an architectural designer, I coordinate with the Architects and Project Managers on a day-to-day basis to draft revisions and changes to the plans/Revit models.
Something you will always find on my desk is an office desk organizer that keeps most of my pens, business cards, and post-it notes.
What’s one part of your daily routine that you’ll never change?
Creating time to relax in the morning before coming to work.
What is the best event/concert/show you’ve ever been to?
I cannot think of the best event I have been too, and I have never yet been to a concert. But a good show I saw was the Fulton Theater’s production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
What’s your favorite hobby or past time when outside of the office?
I recently got into skiing, and I am excited for the upcoming season.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I would say having quick reflexes like catching something mid-air before it hits the ground.
What was your favorite project to work on at TONO Group and why?
I think I am too new to have a favorite project yet. As far as projects that I have learned a lot from, I would have to say Lennar’s Horizon Clubhouse.
