TONO Profiles: Alex Jaskowiak
WHO WE ARE. WHAT WE DO. HOW WE WORK.
Get to know our Senior Architectural Designer, Alex Jaskowiak!
My name is Alex Jaskowiak.
I have worked at TONO Group since April 1st 2024.
It is my job to bring ideas to life – turning a client’s vision into spaces that are meaningful, functional, and inspiring.
Something you will always find on my desk is a mechanical pencil.

Something I have learned from a coworker is that a 2018 Honda Civic has the capacity to carry a steel I-beam.
What’s one part of your daily routine that you’ll never change?
Grabbing a morning coffee.
What is the best event/concert/show you’ve ever been to?
This one’s tough – either The 1975 or Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
What’s your favorite hobby or past time when outside of the office?
I love playing with my 6-year-old son, jumping into whatever his imagination dreams up, and getting to be a kid again. It’s a close tie with going on trips my wife spent months planning (the Era’s tour was her idea and it did not disappoint). For me, it’s all about embracing the simple moments and making lasting memories together.

Do you have any hidden talents?
Not really a talent as much as a gift , but for as much as I love music, I’m unable to memorize/recall melodies and because of this, annoying jingles never get stuck in my head.
What was your favorite project to work on at TONO Group and why?
More than just an individual project, two of my favorite experiences so far have been designing private residences. I really value the process of working closely with clients to create something so personal and meaningful.

What is an achievement, inside or outside of work, that you are proud of?
Purchasing our first home with my wife and working together to make it truly our own.
If you could pass on one bit of knowledge to someone who might not understand the work you do, what would you tell them?
Architectural design isn’t just about making buildings look nice — it’s about solving real problems in creative ways, designing spaces that people enjoy, and finding the sweet spot between looks, function, and practicality.
