5 Questions with Kurt Schenck

TONO Group is pleased to introduce and welcome Kurt Schenck, CNE, to our team!

As a broker and partner at RELO Real Estate Services, he manages the day-to-day full service, life cycle real estate brokerage. Kurt started his real estate career in 2005 and has sold properties throughout Central Pennsylvania, achieving exemplary results with local residential clients and top-tier companies such as Celestial-Hain International and Wal-Mart.

With more than 25 years of diversified sales experience, he is well versed in the sales and negotiating process. Schenck is most passionate about redevelopment projects dedicated to the economic prosperity of Lancaster City, including Downtown Lancaster, and the surrounding areas.

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Management & Organizational Development from Eastern Mennonite University and a Secondary Education Certification from Millersville University

5 Questions with Kurt

    1. What are two things people might not know about you?

“I play the ukulele, badly, and I am a sci-fi geek. In my next life I think I want to be a Wookiee.”

     2.  Why did you want to join TONO Group?

“I liked your corporate culture and was very impressed by Hunter’s vision for TONO Group in the future. I see the way TONO works with its clients and the work is artistic—that spoke to me as a Realtor. It’s very appealing.”

     3.  What’s your idea of a perfect Saturday?

“Spending time on the Eastern Shore with my wife and children.”

     4.  What do you bring to TONO Group?

“In creating RELO [Real Estate Services], I think we are closing the ‘loop’ with regard to a range of services to TONO Group clients. With the addition of RELO, we can now assist clients with achieving a sense of ‘place’ as well as ‘space.'”

5. Aside from being a licensed Realtor, tell me about your other credentials.

“I have a degree in management and organizational development and I am certified to teach social studies and history (social sciences). I am also a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) in real estate and am working on becoming a Green Certified Realtor through the National Association of Realtors.”
